As you may know, there are a lot of individuals and groups working tirelessly in our region to address the concerns we all share about the health of our ecosystems, the resiliency of our food network, and the threat of climate chaos. Despite all the hard work and good intentions, however, it seems we can’t quite do enough to make the big-picture changes we need.
Building sustainability is not a short term project. We need to lay the groundwork for an effort which can aggressively lead us to a secure, livable world for our children and grandchildren.
In other words, we need everybody on the same page and working together.
Our generation has the absolute last opportunity to avoid the unthinkably catastrophic consequences that our children and grandchildren will inherit if we don’t take decisive action now. You’ve had a lot of reason for frustration and worry. I’m happy to bring you a reason for hope. And I’m hoping you’ll join me.
